About
Empowering Communities for Change
History

ECC is a joint effort of like-minded professionals who combined their resources, community service activities and charitable efforts to make a difference, two decades ago. After years of effort and constant work, Empowering Communities for Change has finally come into fruition. The goal is to be able to make long-term plans, so that there is a noticeable difference in education, food provision, women's health, disability support and employment opportunities to bring about social change. The firm belief of this organization is that for the betterment of our society, change should start from within.

Our Mission

ECC, Empowering Communities for Change, is a registered Not-for-Profit Trust. Our primary goal is to uplift the lives of underprivileged communities through education, women's health and hygiene, and community welfare and rehabilitation. We at ECC also extend fundraising initiatives and sponsorship to welfare organizations that require support. Our philosophy is that behind each individual is a family and a community that needs sustenance for their livelihood.

VISION

The future vision of the ECC is to incorporate education, women’s health and welfare, and community-based rehabilitation into our sustainable community development programs, which include patronage to:

• Dar-ul-Khushnud (DUK-ECC), an educational facility and training centre for children and adults with intellectual disabilities;

• Ration Bank (RB-ECC), in collaboration with HELP, to the community in Khuda ki Basti currently supporting over 100 families;

• Hunarmand (HM-ECC), a vocational training centre;

• Business Communication Centre (BCC-ECC), which operates with a focus on fluency in English business education literacy and computer skills at APSA.
